Robert Half is in search of a Staff Accountant to join a dynamic company in the fast-paced environment that values talent and dedication. This Staff Accountant role presents a challenging and multifaceted opportunity located in Philadelphia, within a company that acknowledges and rewards hard work. As a Staff Accountant, your responsibilities will include preparing journal entries, managing monthly and year-end closings, conducting bank reconciliations, maintaining fixed assets, and reconciling general ledger accounts. Additionally, you will play a key role in internal reporting during monthly closings. Your responsibilities in this role:

• Preparing balance sheet account reconciliation and analysis, bank reconciliations, daily cash analysis and checks for bank upload

• Recording cash receipts

• Recording journal entries

• Managing grant accounts cash draws, serving as petty cash custodian

• Assisting the management of the employee travel system

  Requirements

The ideal Staff Accountant candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.

Other requirements for the Staff Accountant position include and are not limited to:

• 2+ years of accounting experience

• Excel proficiency including pivot tables v look up and financial system knowledge

• Success driven attitude, flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of special projects and new responsibilities

• Ability to develop goals, establish priorities and meet deadlines
