Job Summary

Responsible for supporting primary research needs through the collection, synthesis, analysis, and maintenance of data from a variety of sources to produce written deliverables

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Project Planning

  • Collaborate with Insights team to prioritize work and create research plan

  • Identify research approach and methodology as part of research intake

  • Proactively seek out and recommend new methodologies

Research Execution

  • Execute quantitative research studies and analyze raw data using a variety of market research tools

  • Execute on qualitative portions of research studies using a variety of tools and techniques (e.g., focus groups, in depth interviews, moderated discussion boards, etc.)

  • Synthesize insights from a variety of secondary research sources

  • Write survey instruments and discussion guides and ability to oversee survey fielding

  • Ensure data quality throughout the entirety of research execution

  • Ability to learn new data and insights platforms as needed

  • Adhere to project timelines and regularly provide project updates to onsite insights team

  • Effectively prioritizes tasks and projects from both a timing and a resources standpoint

  • Manage and coordinate with research partners, ensuring processes are running efficiently

  • Experience with research tracking/longitudinal studies

Reporting

  • Create final reports for stakeholder teams grounded in data and compelling storytelling

  • Partner with other data reporting teams outside of CR&I, when applicable, to strengthen insights

Operational

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of custom research project experience, preferably on the market research supplier side

  • Familiarity with a variety of market research methodologies, qualitative and quantitative, and their applications

  • Familiarity with survey-analytics platforms

  • Must be able to manage projects independently; be highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Team player with the ability to build good rapport and collaborate

  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills

  • Intellectually curious and inquisitive nature

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the following tools and platforms: SPSS, Tableau, Decipher, Suzy, Quantilope, My-Take, Looker, MarketSight

Bachelor's Degree
