    What the day will look like

  • Multinational companies face constant challenges as they globalize and expand their diverse and international workforce, including: corporate governance, need for operational and costefficiency/improved margins, increase complexity of managing employee benefits and compensation globally in a consistent manner, and balancing central control of employee benefitprograms with ensuring that benefit packages are appropriate in each locale.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    International consulting:

    The candidate is expected to execute consulting assignments including benefit audits, benchmarking, opening for business, M&A, multinational pooling, governance, risk management, global DC consulting, and other types of Global Benefits client projects with very little direction.

    Client relationship management:

    The candidate must have solid business acumen and project management skill. Should be able to manage revenue and be fully accountable for client relationship building and management. The candidate will be responsible for managing strategic as well as tactical interaction with assigned clients and coordinate the efforts of a multidisciplinary team of consultants in numerous locations around the world.

    Revenue growth

    The candidate will be responsible for achieving revenue growth goals and expanding their existing client base through prospecting, cross selling and opportunity management. Intellectual capital development and training – the candidate is expected to participate, as needed, on task forces, think tanks and special project teams. The ideal candidate will also be able to train and mentor junior members of the team to help them develop their understanding of

    Global Benefits and consulting skills. Priority will be given to candidates with:

  • A minimum of 6 to 8 years of direct experience in an HR consulting firm or professional services firm working with clients with international locations.

  • Working knowledge of international employee benefits. International benefits consulting experience is strongly desired.

  • We also value demonstrated consultative skills to effectively work in a cohesive team environment as well as the ability to communicate with a variety of internal and external parties.

  • Strong management and analytical ability

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects in as fast-paced and timesensitive environment.

  • Demonstrated interest in the global environment, other cultures and languages

  • Strong functional knowledge of Excel specific to creating, formatting and evaluating formulas and working within templates.

  • Proficiency in Word, Power Point and other MS Office products along with Adobe products.

  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree (mathematics, finance, economics or other degrees where quantitative skills are required is an advantage)

  • Advanced degree or project management certification is an advantage

    Pay Transparency Laws:

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is [$90 to $120] annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of [State/Region]. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

    This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus production incentives in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus production incentives varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
