The Spirit of the Position: A Garage Supervisor will oversee the facilities of the garage and/or surface lots and ensure preservation of the location. Proficient in basic computer skills in the parking revenue control system Able to work with or without supervision Able to communicate professionally and effectively. Open to feedback, differing opinions and other points of view. What will I do? * Ensures staff adheres to rules of conduct, policies and procedures. * Assist in establishing performance standards, recommending and implementing changes to procedures when necessary. * Responsible for running any reports related to daily revenue, credit cards, garage data or other reports requested by management. Assists with periodic training as needed. Greet by/use name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the company. Education: High school diploma or GED is required. Experience: Supervisor experience is required. Strong customer service experience. Some lead experience is a plus. Cash handling experience is preferred but not required. Parking industry experience is preferred but not required. Skills: Willingness to be flexible, work multiple facility locations. Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations. Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language. Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded). Physical Demands: Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc. Ability to lift, push and pull at least 30 pounds. Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time. Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
