DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities Penn Southern Beltway 1

What you'll be challenged to do: * Represent Client and lead inspection team to assure a quality-built highway construction project. * Assure roadway plans, DOT specifications, bridge construction standards and QC plans are adhered to. * Meet with the Department Project Engineer/ Manager/ Supervisor daily to discuss project schedule. * Ensure completion of daily Project Sight Activity reports and use specified Applications to track and document contractor's work. * Lead daily safety meetings with other field staff.

Qualifications What you bring to our firm: * Associate Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology. * BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred. * Ten years or more of highway construction inspection, management, and/or design experience. * Registered Professional Engineer (PE). * NECEPT Asphalt, ACI/PennDOT Concrete, NICET certifications. * Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members. * Actively advocates for full inclusion in the workplace, fostering an environment that welcomes diversity and values equity for all employees, partners, clients, and the communities that TranSystems serves.
