BAYADA Home Health Care Senior Executive, Joint Ventures and Partnerships in Pennsauken, New Jersey

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Senior Executive to join our Joint Ventures Solutions team. In this role, you will oversee various aspects of JV operations, with a primary focus on ensuring effective governance structures and strategic alignment. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Joint Ventures Solutions, you will utilize your expertise in board governance, stakeholder management, and strategic execution to drive success in our joint ventures.

Location: This position can be based remotely but will require up to 30% travel for team and board meetings. The ideal candidate will be located in Eastern or Central time zones.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Board Governance: Oversee effective board governance, ensuring alignment with mission, vision, and values, while maintaining operational viability, legal compliance, and financial performance of joint ventures.

  2. Board Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships with board members and executive stakeholders to support JV performance and strategy, focusing on board chair and partner board representatives.

  3. Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure alignment of internal and external stakeholders to support board management activities, including operations, finance, legal, and support functions.

  4. Board Meeting Management: Coordinate and execute board meeting logistics, preparation, and follow-up, including regulatory compliance and legal requirements.

  5. Board Meeting Directives Execution: Ensure completion of all board directives and follow-ups by coordinating resources and tasks effectively.

  6. Governance Education and Development: Oversee governance education initiatives for joint ventures, including board orientation and ongoing training for regulatory compliance and good governance practices.

  7. Strategic Planning: Partner with the Board of Directors in establishing and executing strategic plans for joint ventures, ensuring alignment and consensus among all parties.

  8. Contract Management: Lead contract management processes related to JV entities, collaborating closely with BAYADA Legal on renewals, notifications, and performance analysis.

  9. Awards Weekend Facilitation: Engage board members at Awards Weekend events, managing logistics and content development in coordination with BHHC Board representatives.

  10. JV Launch Support: Ensure all governance functions are met for launching new joint ventures, including board formation, officer elections, and meeting cadence establishment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way : Compassion, Excellence, and Reliability.

  2. Four (4) year college degree required.

  3. Fifteen (15) years’ proven record of success in senior level management, preferably in the healthcare industry.

  4. Ability to manage and prioritize the above job requirements for multiple JVs simultaneously.

  5. Strategic thinker with the ability to communicate key messages clearly and concisely.

  6. Excellent command of written and spoken English.

  7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

  8. Demonstrated exemplary leadership and business skills while developing and managing business relationships, especially in joint venture structures.

  9. Proactive communication skills with a collaborative and inclusive personal style. The individual is equally comfortable working with a small dynamic group as well as in front of a large audience.

  10. Well organized with excellent follow-up skills.

  11. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to public groups and or Executive Team, and to influence BAYADA and partner stakeholders without authority.

  12. Proven experience working with executive audiences, communicating company and health care industry topics, and getting involved with the details and managing the challenges that exist in every part of a complex organization. Prior experience working with a Board in some capacity, whether presenting to or sitting on, is required.

  13. Requires high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, decision-making and self-direction to accomplish multiple goals of client practices and solutions.

  14. An ability to travel up to 30%, dependent upon location and demands of the business.
