Food & Beverage Server-Busser

Your Journey

  • Follow Food & Beverage sequence of service utilizing all proper procedures standardized by venue managers and chefs consistently

  • Guide guests through all phases of their experience at the venue while commanding full menu knowledge and preparation methods at all times

  • Set and reset tables before, during, and after service periods with clean polished silverware, glassware, share plates and napkins as necessary

  • Pre-bus and bus tables during service period; assisting servers with service steps where necessary

  • Clean all spills, and broken glassware/dishes immediately, using floor signs when necessary

  • Clean all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintain equipment in good working order while following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department and County health department

  • Work as a team and effectively communicate with management, bartenders and other service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other Associates

  • Always being positive, showing enthusiasm, being humble, being thankful, and being respectful to all team members

  • Exhibit proper knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and any menu items offered while maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the bar

  • Mix and serve drinks, proportioning ingredients to exact recipes and cost criteria while maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the bar as needed

  • Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency

  • Clean all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintaining equipment in good working order while following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department, and County health department.

  • Work as a team and effectively communicating with management, bartenders, and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and/or other Associates.

  • Always be positive, show enthusiasm, be humble, be thankful, and be respectful to all team members

  • 8-hour workday, 40-hour work week

  • Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments

  • Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside the scope of duties, based on business needs

Must Haves

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

  • Experience as a server/cocktail or in room dining, a plus

  • Basic communication skills

  • Hotel experience, a plus

  • Ability to obtain Tips and Food Handlers cards

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period of time

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift

  • Must be physically able to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment as well as delicate china and glassware

  • Must be able to bend, write, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfil cleaning tasks

  • Requires listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
