Description Desktop Support Technician Robert Half is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in East Pearl, Mississippi to assist a client with a contract to permanent role. If you can communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable and concise format. Problem solvers who enjoy working in a challenging and positive environment may do well in this Desktop Support Technician position. This role is On-Site in Pearl, Mississippi.

Your responsibilities - Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities - Deliver computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures - Support, examine, and repair computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals - Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems - Rectify computer problems, and suggest appropriate action/solutions - Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters – Match hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors Requirements

Experience Desired -Bachelors Degree in CS or a related field - Desktop Support experience desired -Understanding of MS365 applications - Deep understanding of Remote Support Tools - Desktop Hardware experience required -A+ certification - Ability to write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals.
