Lockheed Martin Sr. Test Engineer / Aegis Computer Infrastructure (ACI) / Network in Pascagoula, Mississippi

Description: The Senior Test Engineer with an Aegis Computer Infrastructure (ACI) focus. This person is responsible for supporting the ATT Pascagoula LM Team conduct shipboard test procedures and documenting test completion and test discrepancies. The Sr Test Engineer reports to the AWS Test Lead.

Specific responsibilities include:

1.Coordinates testing dockside and on sea trials.

2.Coordinates with other Government and contractor experts to determine and define system performance and testing requirements.

3.Ensure proper systems integration and interface requirements are satisfied during shipboard testing. Reviews, comments and coordinates evaluation of technical test data.

Planning:

1.Plans Test Operations tasking ensuring that Equipment O&M personnel and additional support from Combat System Engineering and other ATT work centers as necessary to support shipboard testing.

2.Ensure adherence of testing and reporting are IAW applicable ATT Standard Operating Procedures.

3.Assist in the Planning and managing with ATT work centers for live fire rehearsals/demonstrations/training events that will ensure Ship’s Force competency in the proper conduction of sea trial Live Firing events.

Execution:

1.Provides expert advice on system testing to enable the definition and resolution of system problems.

2.Initiates corrective action such as preparation of Test Problem Reports (TPR) and Test Change Proposals (TCP) as required.

3.Monitors, analyzes and reports on the ATT’s shipboard progress regarding test and integration-related activities.

4.Provide direct support other test engineers for testing requirements.

5.Ensure resources are allocated to facilitate ACS testing requirements.

Reporting:

1.Provides input into TEM to ensure ATT management has a status/ knowledge of ongoing Shipboard testing events.

2.Provide daily and weekly reports to AWS Lead

3.Generate test reports at completion of each test.

4.Generate Test Change Procedures (TCP) or Test Problem Reports (TPRs) as needed to document test procedure discrepancies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

• Candidate will be required on an infrequent basis to go underway on units and to frequently work on moored pier-side units. Physical ability to navigate steep stairs and ladders as well as work in confined spaces is a requirement.

• Be able to maneuver around and behind equipment installed on a US Navy vessel

• Qualified candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position. This requires US Citizenship.

Desired Skills:

• Extensive experience with Aegis Operational Experience on board an Aegis Class Destroyer or Cruiser.

• Aegis Test Team experience with Baseline 7, 8, 9 and/or 10

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
