SENIOR ACCOUNTANT -

  • Responsible for all general accounting functions, including the general ledger and management/financial reporting.

  • Oversee the month-end close process collaborating with multiple departments; post monthly, quarterly and annual accruals.

  • Perform account analyses and reconciliations, including bank statement reconciliation, fixed assets, and balance sheet accounts reconciliation.

  • Set up and maintain the G/L accounts, account roll-ups, and reporting structure for compliance with GAAP for consistency and completeness.

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reports.

  • Assist in the preparation of fluctuation analyses and financial statements analytics, providing relevant explanations for fluctuations.

  • Analysis of sales and use tax data.

  • filing and payment of sales and use tax returns.

  • Assist with audit preparations.

    Requirements

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with strong knowledge of general ledger accounting

  • Intermedia to advance MS excel and other office applications.

  • Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working successfully within a team environment

  • Ability to communicate with cross-functional departments to ensure completeness of operating expenses and closing the books timely

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
