In this position, you will lead the Weight Management and Control Team for Advanced Development Programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1) Coordinating with program managers and program technical leadership to establish and direct operating concepts, tailored processes, procedures and priorities to meet program and customer mass properties requirements.

2) Developing and implementing strategic initiatives for digital transformation related to mass properties across the ADP portfolio

3) Ensuring the technical integrity of ADP mass properties products

4) Forecasting staffing to align with program objectives and coordinating with program managers and engineers to move personnel across programs as needed

5) Mentoring and developing technical leads and team members including developing career growth plans

6) Reviewing and providing cost, schedule, and technical input on proposals and earned value management

Palmdale, CA

Basic Qualifications:

‒ Experience with technical leadership of a team of mass properties engineers in the development phase on a military aircraft program.

‒ Experience and proficiency in Mass Properties Control and Management Integration for one or more aircraft program life cycle phases (Development, Production, Sustainment).

‒ Experience with application of weight control methods and processes to enable new or improved vehicle capabilities.

‒ Experience providing cost, technical, and schedule direction in a dynamic aircraft program environment.

Desired Skills:

‒ Military aircraft experience and product knowledge.

‒ Experience with key U.S.A.F. and/or U.S. Navy and U.S. Marines customers and offices that drive weight requirements.

‒ Familiarity with mass properties control and management processes and data management systems.

‒ Experience leading technical mass properties teams for programs in the production phase

‒ Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills are required to effectively interact with Integrated Product Teams and Customers to solve complex configuration management and weight control challenges.

‒ Proficiency in MS Office tools.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $118,100 - $226,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $135,800 - $256,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
