Description:
Summary:
Responsible for repair and maintenance of all machines related to the equipment within the assigned operational areas of the bowling alley. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations and policies and procedures.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Correct pinsetter malfunctions immediately while bowling is in progress. Assist the mechanic supervisor in a formal preventative maintenance program for the pinsetters
Check work schedule for special assignments
Follow regular maintenance and cleaning schedule
Wipe down all pins and repair minor damages. Replace bad pins when necessary
Keep pit area neat and clean at all times
Clean ball dusters, per regularly established procedure
Clean tables throughout the night as needed
Dust mop bowler’s area before league begins and dust/spot mop area before leaving every night
Assist lane maintenance person when needed
Take out all trash and restock the supply closet at end of shift
Pleasant personality, team oriented and enjoys working with and serving people
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff
Ability to perform basic math
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications
Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents maintenance instructions, and other related documents
Ability to interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner at all times
Able to functionally communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbal
Able to accurately perform basic math skills
Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One (1) year experience as a pin chaser preferred
Verify right to work in the United States

Requires being mobile ninety (90) percent of the shift
Prolonged walking and standing
May require lifting up to sixty (60) lbs, transporting, pushing, pulling and maneuvering large loads weighing up to one hundred fifty (15) lbs
Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity
Requires use of manual and power tools
Frequently bend, reach, twist, squat, and kneel
Constant standing, distinguishing between shades of color, and use of vision and hearing
