SVP, Demand Generation

PRIMARY PURPOSE : Conceptualizes and executes lead generation through marketing tactics such as paid digital, social media, and search engine marketing. The SVP of Demand Generation provides strategic leadership and drives a comprehensive strategy to generate leads and nurture prospects, while aligning both sales and marketing to contribute to the overall growth of the company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conceptualizes and executes a comprehensive, multi-channel demand generation strategy, to drive growth and achieve the company’s overall objectives.

  • Provides strategic leadership and direction to the Demand Generation team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.

  • Ensures a cohesive brand message and customer journey by aligning with sales on customer and prospect segmentation in CRM;

  • Oversees data and analytics to measure success of lead quality, conversion rates, and impact of initiatives; makes data-driven decisions to enhance performance and optimize results.

  • Leads the marketing targeting initiatives aimed at lead generation by segment.

  • Deploys social and digital marketing campaigns in support of various marketing initiatives.

  • Owns the demand generation budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum return on investment.

  • Partners with marketing, senior leadership, and sales management on demand generation performance results, current initiatives, and areas for optimization.

  • Owns demand generation marketing automation and integration of marketing database and contact sources.

  • Leads and mentors a team of marketing professionals to execute campaigns that drive qualified leads.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Travels as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.

  • Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.

  • Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university required; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience

Ten (10) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required, to include at least five (5) years in a leadership role. Experience with CRM systems and a history of lead generation success with B2C or B2B.

  • Advanced understanding of digital and social media

  • Strong understanding of CRM systems

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences

  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving growth and achieving client objectives, while having strong presentation and analytical skills

  • Proven success in a dynamic, global organization

  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, interpretive and negotiation skills

  • Proven management/leadership skills

  • Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
