Job Description:

As Transport Management System (TMS) Functional User Representative (FUR), you are a self-starter who possesses strong analytical skills and enjoys driving process improvements for transportation related projects and tasks. You have high integrity and accountability standards and like to operate in an international environment. As part of the Engineering department, you will add value to the services UPS is providing to its customers by optimizing processes and working on technology

What do you do on an average day?

• You manage different projects, from requirements gathering to implementation.

• You act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on UPS TMS, and related IT systems and coordinate with internal stakeholders (Operations, IT, etc.) during project implementation.

• You drive process re-design/optimization for operations with UPS Managed Transport Services

• You lead the setup of new customers on UPS TMS and lead the handover to UPS Operations.

• You work closely together with a diverse group of SME from all over the globe (e.g. Operators and management from all over Europe, UPS IE colleagues in other geos, IT personnel based in US and India, clients, and vendors)

• The tasks in your agenda vary from root-causing a system issue, to presenting a proposal to senior management for an investment to be made.

• Support strategic initiatives, designed to transform the IT system/ infrastructure and tools.

• You provide trainings and demonstrations of the UPS systems.

What do we expect of you?

• Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business

• Experience: 5 years proven track record in Warehousing and/or Transport

• Enthusiasm and Interest in Transport in general, Systems and IT development

• Experience with ERP, WMS and/or TMS platforms is a plus

• Fluent in English (Dutch, German, Polish languages are a plus)
