Global Finishing Solutions Freight Forwarder in Osseo, Wisconsin
About This Opportunity
The freight forwarder is responsible for coordinating the movement of goods with a focus on international shipping and hazardous materials. This position will work closely with clients, carriers, and other logistics personnel to ensure that the shipments are handled smoothly throughout the shipping process and delivered efficiently and securely.

What You Will Do
Coordinate and manage all aspects of the shipment process including booking, documentation, customs clearance, and hazardous materials.
Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and carriers to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods.
Arrange transportation and logistics services, such as trucking, shipping, and air freight, to meet the specific needs of each shipment.
Prepare and process necessary shipping and customs documents, including BOL, commercial invoice, and export/import documents. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns from any affected party and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Develop and maintain internal processes related to international, and hazardous materials shipping and train other logistics team members on those processes.
Optimize shipping routes and methods to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
What You Have to Offer
Bachelor in logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent industry experience.
3-5 Years Experience with a focus on logistics
Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs requirements.
Knowledge of EAR, ITAR, and denied parties regulations.
Knowledge of hazardous materials shipping requirements.
