Responsible for managing all aspects of landscape, hardscape, and irrigation design associated with planning and construction of new subdivisions from concept through construction acceptance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, completion, submittal and approval of landscape and hardscape plans in accordance with division goals

• Review landscape and hardscape design documents, site plans, improvement plans for project coordination and accuracy

• Direct consultants in the preparation of construction documents and other deliverables

• Collaborate with land development and entitlement project managers to design landscape and hardscape in accordance with community vision and budget

• Develop project budgets during feasibility and manage construction bidding and contracting efforts

• Analyze and review site plans for efficiency and consistency with community vision

• Coordinate with municipalities and other government agencies from permitting to final acceptance

• Coordinate contractors, inspectors, landscape architects and engineers

• Develop and maintain division landscape architecture standards/specifications

• Establish quality assurance and organization of design packages; monitor landscape design efforts to meet project schedules

Required Education:

• Minimum Associates Degree in Landscape Architecture, Land Planning or Equivalent

• Valid Driver’s License because driving is an essential function of this position.
