Lockheed Martin Flight Simulator Test Engineer in Orlando, Florida

This position is for an entry level Test Engineer to support Production Operations at RMS on the Full Mission Simulator (FMS) for the F35 Joint Strike Fighter. Specific responsibilities include:

-Translates engineering drawings into repeatable manufacturing test procedures for test technicians to perform.

-Travels as the junior member of a Test Engineer install team to successfully install and test FMS systems at customer sites.

-Performs asset configuration, setting IP addresses to network assets, system stand-up, functional testing, and troubleshooting of units under test.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

• Ability to understand electrical schematics,

networking schematics, and written test procedures

• Experience with configuring network assets and

other IT related tasks

• Able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Skills:

• Current approval for JSF Special Access Programs

• Possess a current CompTIA Security + Certification

• Experience working with training simulators

• JIRA/Confluence Atlassian web-based tool experience

• Ability to analyze complex designs & create test solutions that optimize cost/scope/schedule variables

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and able to communicate effectively with team members about technical status/issues

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
