THE OPPORTUNITY

This Cybersecurity Specialist position can work out in one of the following locations: Alameda (CA), Bend (OR), Chicago (IL), or Orlando (FL) .

Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for ongoing analysis of internal and external cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, and the production of actionable intelligence for the organization. Individuals in this role collect data from multiple sources and recommend vulnerability mitigation approaches as well as provide detailed analysis of emerging cybersecurity threats. Individuals in this role provide assistance to security operations personnel to aid in identifying and blocking threats through development of signatures and configuration recommendations for security tools.

What You’ll Work On

  • Review cybersecurity threat and vulnerability intelligence briefings from multiple internal and external sources.

  • Meet with internal and external intelligence sharing forums and organizations to facilitate appropriate information sharing

  • Interface with platform management and operations teams to aid in tool configuration and to ensure appropriate log review by operations personnel and data production for input into security intelligence program

  • Facilitate development of patterns for analysis tools used to identify and thwart malicious attacks

  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge on security



QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field


  • 5 years of experience in product cybersecurity or related field


  • Strong understanding of security concepts and best practices


  • Experience with insider risk management

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

PREFERRED:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, CEH)

The base pay for this position is $83,000.00 – $166,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
