The Business Development | Healthcare role is responsible for participating in all related aspects of the company's business development activities related to our Healthcare Market Sector. This position will be responsible for gathering and analyzing information on potential opportunities, clients, and projects to align with our strategic goals. They will foster relationships with potential clients, enhance relationships with current clients, and leverage these relationships to position to win future projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively with the Market Sector Leader and Client Executives to develop business plans, revenue targets and implement strategic marketing goals and annual revenue targets.
  • Must strategically identify new client opportunities within existing markets that are consistent with established goals.
  • Target desirable clients and opportunities, collaborate with team to choreograph pursuit of these opportunities, form positive relationships with key decision makers, and gather intel to support a winning strategy for future selection.
  • Understand the expenses and revenue potential of new opportunities and be able to develop a winning strategy.
  • Leads the Go/No-Go process to evaluate potential opportunities.
  • Manage the pursuit process for potential client/project opportunities through contract award and is accountable for the success of those pursuits. Will lead the development and production of qualifications, proposals, and presentations including coaching of presentation teams.
  • Ensure that post-proposal debriefs occur and that information is distributed appropriately.
  • Serve as a constant vocal advocate for the client and external perspectives in the execution of our business.
  • Monitor the Market Sector and competitors to leverage best practices and lessons learned.
  • Continuously cultivate and maintain positive relationships with sources for lead generation (A/Es, contractors, consultants, trade associations, etc.).
  • Stay in frequent contact with new, existing, and past clients to uncover opportunities, act as a sounding board with respect to our performance and as a lead generation activity.
  • Actively participate in target client industry trade associations and strategic community and industry activities for lead generation and visibility of the company.
  • Maintain prospect information/tracking data and provides input to company pipeline and systems.
  • Attend regular business development meetings to maintain accountability.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and attend events outside the normal workday (e.g., industry related events, business development events, interviews, and client meetings).
  • Report to Market Sector Leader.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in design, architecture, engineering, business, or related discipline.

  • Experience in working with diverse clients consistent with our market sectors (Healthcare, Federal, Education and Culture) preferred.
