Adecco is currently assisting a client in recruiting for an Intake Specialist position in Chico, Ca. The candidate will perform a wide variety of general clerical duties in support of department or division, provide information to clients and general public, receive and direct calls and visitors, receive, route and distribute incoming mail, maintain files and records and perform a variety of clerical duties relative to assigned area of responsibility. Qualifications:

  • 2-years of experience.

  • 100% bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • Ability to work in any position as needed.

  • Ability to work any shift and weekends.

  • Proficient in Word and Excel.

  • Communication courses/training.

  • High School Diploma

Responsibilities:

  • Payroll and timekeeping.

  • New hire orientation, training, onboarding activities.

  • Onboarding/Layoff processes for seasonal employees, vendor/AP communication.

  • Leads Dryer certification, State, and OSHA compliance, all documentation, safety and sanitation preparation and updates.

  • Verifying all required operation permits are current and posted appropriately.

  • Creating purchasing requisitions.

  • Supporting manager by tracking expenses vs budget.

  • Daily employee relations/ communication. RE: absences, IPP and safety training compliance, heat/injury/ monitoring.

  • Manage and data entry of daily production, quality, and receiving information. Daily green fruit receiving audit/troubleshooting.

  • Coordinates daily deliveries of dried fruit for efficient loading and unloading.

  • Creates Sample ID's and Sampling Schedule.

  • Bi-weekly sampling shipping manifests.

  • Daily managing of Display transfers orders to ensure proper and complete inventory management.

  • Grading SAP processes. Production, inventory, and reporting. Including daily bin put away inventory checks.

  • Grading reconciliation, point spread and process controls.

  • Complete understanding of SAP reprinting and tag reversals.

  • Administers dried fruit shipping, truck scale, and coordination with Yuba City's needed batch, location, size parameters.

Job Description:

Under the direction of the Dryer manager, the Administrative Supervisor is responsible for the communication, effectiveness, and efficient operation and compliance of administrative programs, operations, Company policies, and procedures. The administrative supervisor is also responsible for helping to drive continuous improvement when opportunities are observed and identified.

Strong written/verbal communication skills.

Performs investigations of events/performance and provides documentation, testimony, and evidence to support enforcement of rules, policies, and procedures.

Works toward constant improvement in safe work practices.

Promotes safe work habits, policies, and procedures among dryer team.

Encourages employees to report problems in production, product quality, safety, and other production/processing related areas.

Certifies the completion of employee training with appropriate documentation.

Maintains and encourages positive employee/supervisor/team relationships.

Proactively works to prevent conflict and tension among employees/team.

Compliance with company policies, procedures, safety programs.

Implements training, discipline, and other company policies and programs.

Works towards constant improvement in safe work practices, and employee engagement in safety program, policies, and procedures.

Helps maintain preventative maintenance program.

Responsible for maintenance and sanitation documentation and compliance.

Ensures employee Good Manufacturing Practices are being followed.

Promptly informs and/or escalates to the Dryer manager/ Dryer supervisors any known or anticipated problems.

Coordinates within department and with other departments to maximize productivity/efficiencies and minimize downtime.

Ensures clear and timely communication and coordination within department and with other departments to maximize productivity and minimize downtime, safety issues/concerns.

Willing to learn and successfully pursue any new opportunities, as team needs evolve/change.

Other duties as assigned.
