Under the direction of, and in collaboration with unit management, performs responsibilities exercising initiative, judgment and independent decision-making within the scope of the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policy and other governing organizations. Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation) in a systematic approach to the direct and indirect care of patients and their families..75 FTE Nights 12 hour Shifts Rotating Weekends and HolidaysGraduate from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota. Must successfully complete criminal background check as required by the State of Minnesota. Knowledge of nursing principles, policies, procedures and medical ethics equivalent to years of experience. Excellent communication skills across disciplines and at various levels. Ability to work in a team setting. Possession of attention to detail, organization and prioritization skills. Computer skills including Word. Med/Surg Exp Required. Certifications: Basic Life Support. Desired certifications: ACLS, TNCC or CALS, NRP, PALS
