Information Systems Security Officer (Onsite)

Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer in Omaha, NE . In this position you will work in a diverse environment that allows you to get into every aspect of Information Assurance supporting complex computing systems. You will report directly to the Information Assurance Manage and use your experience to support a classified information system in an advanced computing environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the development and deployment of cybersecurity controls for assigned systems to meet enterprise requirements, policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.

  • Performs and participates in cybersecurity assessments and audits both in terms of controls and risks

  • Prepares, reviews, and presents technical reports and briefings.

  • Identifies and contributes to the identification of root causes, prioritizes threats and recommends and/or implements corrective action

  • Explores the enterprise for evolving state of knowledge and methods regarding cyber security best practices.

  • Assist in the development of local unit Cybersecurity programs and security plan IAW ACC, AF, IC, and DOD guidance.

  • Assist in gathering data, analyze compliance and report results on the condition and progress of local unit Cybersecurity programs, security plans, plan of action and milestones (POA&M) and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) workflow tools data, patch management, information assurance vulnerability alerts (IAVA), DoD 8570.01M certifications, and Federal Information System Modernization Act (FISMA) compliance requirements, and Authorizations to Operate (ATOs) to unit leadership and HHQs as directed.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must be a US citizen and possess and maintain a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance with SCI eligibility

  • Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with experience in development of technical documentation to include artifacts required to support Assessment & Authorization (A&A) under the Risk Management Framework

  • Must demonstrate experience interpreting and applying government security regulations such as NIST, NISPOM, JSIG, ICDs to information systems while performing basic troubleshooting methods, risk management, and information system security principles on a routine basis

  • Have an approved DoDD 8140 (DoD 8570.01) IAT level II certification

  • Experience with security configurations across multiple operating systems in various environments, to include Windows, Linux, UNIX, utilizing Active directory/Group Policy

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with DoD customers and their requirements

  • Experience with JSIG requirements

  • Experience with DCSA eMASS

  • Experience with container management to include Kubernetes, Podman, and Docker

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualification, as well as market and business considerations. Summary base pay range $98,000 - $105,800
