Nexeo Staffing IT Support Specialist in OGDEN, Utah
Nexeo HR is seeking an IT Support Specialist to support an awesome company in the Ogden,UT area for 2 months. Candidate must have 2 plus years of experience in a technical support role,experience with PC Imaging and development software as well as experience in troubleshooting MFPs,label printers,and handheld terminals.
Responsibilities
Provide first and second-tier technical support for hardware,software,and network-related issues.
Configure,install and manage corporate devices including but not limited to workstations,laptops,MFPs,lapel printers,phones,handheld terminals,and tablets.
Perform user onboarding and offboarding.
Keep track of IT assets.
Manage incoming support inquiries through a helpdesk ticketing system.
Balance incoming support requests and escalation to other IT personnel while attempting to determine root causes to resolve user issues.
Assist in creating and maintaining IT documentation.
Observe all safety rules and promote a safe working environment with team members.
Maintain strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety,occupational safety,environmental safety,food safety,legal regulations,company requirements,etc.
Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes,but is not limited to Production,Quality,Food Safety & GMP.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Diploma in Computer Science or a certificate or program completion in a related area.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a technical support role.
Hands-on experience with Office365 environment.
Experience with PC imaging and deployment software.
Working knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems.
Experience with troubleshooting MFPs,label printers and handheld terminals.
Basic understanding of network topologies,protocols,and routing.
Skill in organization,analysis,time management,prioritization,and the ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
Commitment to continuous improvement and quality of support and service.
Good interpersonal skills and communication to interact with all levels of management.
Able to multitask,prioritize,and manage time efficiently.
Excellent leadership,team building,and management skills to mentor and lead staff.
Pay
$28.85 Per Hour
Schedule
Day Shift I 9:00am 5:00pm I Monday - Friday
On-call when necessary
