Our client, a world wide leader in auto parts manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for their new location in Oakland. They are building up their team and need someone that brings expertise in maintenance who can lead a team of mechanics.

Required:

• 2 years in manufacturing quality management

• leadership backround, leading a team

• problem solving - hands on

• PLC programming

-hydraulic control, rapid response, and emergency treatment of sudden problems

• automotive backround highly preferred

-iso9001 regulated backround required

responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and upkeep on the equipment based on performance data from the equipment manufacturer.

• Record daily equipment maintenance and analyze and develop preventive plans for multiple failures on a monthly basis; implement them effectively.

• Track and train all staff on new equipment for safe operation and performance understanding.

• Conduct periodic equipment safety inspections and address potential safety hazards promptly.

• Identify and manage environmental and energy factors within the functional scope.

• Stop employees from operating equipment not in accordance with regulations.

• Effectively and smoothly batch equipment problems of new projects in the factory in a timely manner.

• Handle equipment failures promptly and manage preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.

• Ensure all staff participate and fully cooperate in completing tasks for special faults.
