We offer you an exciting work and project environment in R&D IT Infrastructure within Siemens AG.

You will be part of a dynamic global team and help to design, expand, ensure and continuously optimise the DevOps system landscape of our global development department.

What part will you play?

• You are responsible for the cross-portfolio IT infrastructure architecture in the global R&D organisation, considering the constantly growing security requirements

• Take care of the development of realisation alternatives (on-premises/cloud) and actively drive the decision-making process forward

• You will be responsible for the technical support of agile and cross-functional teams in an international environment

• You will also validate existing and future IT technologies in terms of benefits, automation, and security

• Represent us in internal and external security audits

What you need to make real what matters.

• You have successfully completed your university degree in information technology (IT) or a comparable subject and many years of professional experience

• You are an expert in network topology (network analysis, network security, network segments)

• You have extensive experience in the configuration and operation of Windows/Linux systems and VMWare vSphere landscapes and are familiar with container virtualization

• Many years of professional experience with agile development teams

• You contribute to the team with your DevOps mentality and a passion for automation and "infrastructure as code"

• You have a quick grasp of things and strong analytical skills, which you use to solve your tasks in a targeted manner

• Experienced in working with Git, package managers (npm, NuGet), MS Azure DevOps and Jfrog Artifactory

• You convince us with your structured, collaborative and solution- and goal-oriented approach and working methodology

• You are a great teammate with good interpersonal skills with the R&D/PLM-teams as well as with the management

• You can confidently communicate in English and ideally also in German and are willing to learn something new every day
