Responsibilities

The EFM Manager, National Network is responsible for working with EFM Management, Operations, and Customer Service Teams to align EFM's agent portfolio, rates, and processes to support company goals and initiatives. The EFM Manager, National Network will assist in vendor recruiting, implementation, compliance, and communication, as well as ongoing support and monitoring. Duties include but are not limited to: Recruit, train and implement new vendors to support EFM business activities as necessary.Understand the EFM recruitment and onboarding process and capabilities including training, rates, selection, and payment.Maintain knowledge of current, historical, and industry trends relating to cost of transportationResponsible for assisting in the successful management of EFM agent portfolio.Provide guidance, procedures, and communication to various operations groups on the utilization of approved carriers, both internally at EFM and to external parties.Participate in regular compliance reviews of vendor contracts and relationships, including scorecard metrics and QBR's.Perform regular site visits and audits of EFM agent locations, where needed.Communicate EFM processes, procedures, and expectations to EFM agent network. Drive, support, and implement all initiatives driven by the EFM Strategic Plan.Collaborate with various departments to establish best practices and promote cross training and cross functional team building.Maintain good communication and positive relationships with EFM Network to promote satisfaction and partnership retention.Responsible for adhering to and actively participating in EFM's standard Performance Management process, for any direct reports.Ensure safety methods and programs are implemented and maintained. Support and promote company core values. Regular attendance is required. Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of experience in transportation, logistics, procurement, project management or other transportation business or activity with a clear understanding of multiple modes and services within the transportation/logistics industry. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. SKILLS AND ABILITIESAbility to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents. Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence. Ability to work with groups of people such as other departments and communicate known concepts. Ability to present to a group of departments.Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis.
