ENVISION YOUR FUTURE JOB

We are looking for a motivated, curious and enterprising talent to join us at our Logistics Fulfillment Center located in Nottingham.

With the integration among Essilor and Luxottica, and the acquisition of Grand Vision, we are in the process of reviewing the whole Logistics network implementing the synergies both from a physical and systems point of view in the EMEA region.

We’re going to merge different banners and materials into the new Fulfillment Centers in order to optimize all our distribution processes and looking for increase of services and cost reduction.

The Capacity Analyst will join the current FC management team in order to support them in the following tasks:

• gather and analyze the sell in/out forecast from planning team;

• elaborate the forecast in middle term of the workforce needed in order to guarantee a good service with the correct cost;

• elaborate the workforce plan in the short term (weekly and daily) in order to guarantee a good service without inefficiencies;

• manage productivity and capacity KPIs;

• develop the workforce budget and related efficiencies according to the workload forecasted by the market;

• evaluate feasibility and costs related to new services / requirements raised by the market

• support on calculation in order to define the best flow in the logistics footprint.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES

• Collaborate to guarantee the business target at daily/weekly/monthly and quarter level;

• Collaborate with the Operations team to implement the preventive and corrective activities needed in order to reach the business targets;

• Promote new activities and project in order to improve the productivity and KPI of the FC;

• Controlling Costs KPIs in cooperation with Controlling team;

• Budget preparation in cooperation with Controlling team;

• Research and analyze for improvements in logistics flow;

• Be available to travel in the EMEA area to support the projects go-live;

• Support the operations team on site in order to implement the improvements;

PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

• Educational Background in Engineering degree (management, IT);

• You have a good knowledge of logistics and warehouse management;

• Solid experience with IT tools, especially advanced Office package/SAP;

• You have excellent ability to analyze complex data;

• You have excellent knowledge of WMS software and related logics;

• You are used to do research and analysis for improvements in logistics flows;
