Staff Nurse CMH - Ambulatory Surgery/Infusion, Part-time, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital United Health Services is seeking a Staff Nurse CMH - Ambulatory Surgery/Infusion, Part-time to join our Ambulatory Surgery department at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

$36.75 - $49.13 per hour, depending on experience.

Overview

Position Overview

Seeking compassionate, team-oriented part-time RN to serve the outpatient infusion care needs of our patients. Duties include administration of IV medications, blood products, biologics and antineoplastic agents, as well as, assisting in the Ambulatory Surgery setting. ONS certification and oncology training available.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

Education/ExperienceMinimum Required:A graduate of an accredited school of NursingUnit Specific Requirement:Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing.Current NY State RN license.At least 1 year of experience in health care setting with evidence of having obtained proficiency in those areas emphasized in the Registered Nurse curriculum.

Preferred:Previous experience at ICU, ED, IRStrong communication skillsONS certificationPrevious experience with outpatient infusions, chemotherapy

License/Certification

Minimum Required:Current New York State Registered Nurse LicenseCPR certification within 3 months of hire.

Preferred:Professional certification in a related nursing specialtyRelevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC)
