Overview and Essential Functions

The Delivery Driver will move parts, goods, and other merchandise from one location to another. Areas of delivery include but are not limited to: Greater Philadelphia, PA Region, New York City's 5 Boroughs and the Greater New England Region (ME, NH, VT). To be successful in this role, you must be comfortable driving for long distances and in major metropolitan cities. You must be willing to work the occasional overnight, should the trip require it.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Delivers parcels to correct job sites.

  • Inspect load securement.

  • Fill out required paperwork.

  • Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.

  • Maintain a safe working environment by completing MTSA (Material Transfer Safety Analysis).

  • Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Clock in and out each day and for lunch breaks.

  • Remove trash and debris from job site prior to heading home.

$17-$20hr.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to drive safely.

  • Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.

  • Ability to maintain basic logs and records.

  • Ability to complete field audit inspection for all vehicles.

  • Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.

  • Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.

  • Ability to drive up to a 26' trailer is a plus

Work environment:

  • Drive an enclosed truck on a daily basis

  • Work outdoors as necessary

  • Wear personal protective equipment and safety attire on a daily basis

  • Occasionally exposed to whole body vibration when driving a truck

Physical demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

  • Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies
