Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Opportunity – Norwalk, Connecticut (50 miles from NYC)

Norwalk Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, has as excellent opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, in our office based at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, Connecticut, about one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County and next to Westchester County in New York. Our long established and busy teaching practice includes six physicians and three advanced practitioners. This is a full-time office-based position, with a Monday-Friday workday schedule with no call responsibility and no inpatient coverage.

The ideal candidate will be a board certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant and have at least one year of experience in a primary care or specialty office practice. GI specific experience a plus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including allowance for CME and Dues and CME time. CT license, CSR, and Federal DEA required.

Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Yale University School of Medicine, Ross University School of Medicine and the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.

Norwalk Hospital is ideally situated in suburban Fairfield County, Connecticut, along the Long Island Sound. The city of Norwalk is rich in cultural diversity and offers many venues for 4 season outdoor and indoor recreation. There are highly rated public and private schools and universities in our area.
