Robert Half Receptionist in Northridge, California

Description

We are looking for a Receptionist to work in our Northridge, California locatioN. This position offers a long term one year contract employment opportunity with the possibility of transitioning to permanet hire. The Receptionist will be responsible for managing our multi-line phone system, providing excellent customer service, handling data entry tasks, and managing email correspondence.

Responsibilities:

• Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner

• Welcome visitors and assist them or direct them to the appropriate person or team

• Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times

• Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer

• Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received

• Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail

• Take inventory of supplies and restock as needed

• Maintain the general office filing system

• Schedule appointments and update calendar

• Perform other administrative support tasks, including updating and sorting files, drafting and sending correspondence, and conducting research.

Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word

• Experience in answering multi-line phone system

• Strong customer service skills

• Familiarity with data entry tasks

• Ability to organize files efficiently

• Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars

• Proficiency in email correspondence

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Previous experience in receptionist duties in the semi-conductors or electric component manufacturing industry

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Professional and positive demeanor at all times

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Willingness to take on additional tasks as required

• High school diploma or equivalent required
