Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, establishing budgets and forecasting, preparing audits, and handling internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities

• Participate in various department-wide initiatives

• Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

• Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations

• Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

• Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

• Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

• Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

• Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary

• Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests Requirements - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

• Bank Account Reconciliation experience

• Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings

• Knowledge of bank relations

• Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

• Experience with ERP systems

• Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

• Experience in SOX control execution/documentation

• Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus

• Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

• Strong time management skills preferred

• Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes

• 5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

• Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

• Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
