Randstad is looking for a Production Supervisor for the North Kingstown area. The candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department and to ensure manufacturing operations run safely, with world-class quality, and adhere to the established production specifications and schedules. This would include the development of team members and collaboration with other departments to support achievement of production goals. Responsibilities

• The Production Supervisor analyzes production schedules & makes plans for producing units required by the schedule. This plan takes into account manpower, materials, and proper scheduling to ensure units are completed at optimum lead time required for final assembly line dates.

• This position is responsible for all aspects of their direct reports' day to day activities, safety, morale, position and career development, coaching, discipline, schedule, time sheets and attendance.

• This position is responsible for safety initiatives, PPE, safety concerns and suggestions, and completing necessary paperwork to include monthly safety inspection, and accident investigation reports.

• Help develop methods and provide support to continually improve mfg. processes.

• Responsible for effective communication to all levels of the plant from direct reports to the Plant Manager.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
