Job Description

Senior FP&A Analyst is a key role within Allergan Aesthetics Shared Services Center. The job holder will report to Manager, FP&A to provide critical information that would be vital to manage the AR in most effective manner.

The senior FP&A Analyst position resides within Allergan Aesthetics Financial Shared Services Center. This role regularly communicates and interacts with AR Austin leadership, project managers, and various stakeholders to understand and support day to day operations and enhancement objectives. The job holder will provide critical information that would be vital to manage the Accounts Receivable Portfolio with 24,000 customers and $6 Bn annual collection to be done in most effective manner. The FP&A Analyst will also serve as a strategic advisor to Director of AR and Director of AR effectiveness. This role coordinates with commercial functions to provide analytical insights and information needed for the successful execution of business objectives.

The main responsibilities of this role:

  • Develop and Report on Key Performance Indicators for the efficient management of Accounts Receivable, Cash Flow, etc. for product lines supported by FSS in Austin, Texas

  • Develop Plan/LBE/LRP for AR, DSO, AR Ageing, cash flows.

  • Design and automate reporting that will aide the decision making for directors in the AR organization

  • Bring insights and data to the decision making process and influence stakeholders’ strategic and tactic decisions

  • Guide analyst in performing month-end closing and reporting

  • Coach team members

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred 4+ years of progressive and related experience in Finance and/or Accounting.

Broad experience within commercial finance including finance operations, cash flow, essential,

In-depth knowledge and experience of financial systems (SAP) is required.

Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

Ability to execute day-to-day tactical operations efficiently.

Ability to challenge the status quo through innovation and Bold thinking.

In-depth understanding of financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow) & core finance/accounting concepts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Self-starter capable of working in a deadline-oriented environment.

Ability to recognize key issues and effectively communicate those to management.

Good interpersonal skills, including the ability and desire to communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with others throughout the business and finance organizations.

Strong spreadsheet, power point, and financial systems experience.
