Job Description

Manufacturing Group Leader Hours: 4/10 Shift either Sunday-Wednesday OR Wednesday-Saturday, 6:30am-5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining inventory levels.

  • Sampling of in process and raw materials.

  • Running glass washer / autoclave.

  • Buffer / media preparation.

  • Equipment preparation (CIP / SIP).

  • Cell culture (from vial thaw to production scale).

  • Coordinate production schedule to ensure task completion on time.

  • Lead Upstream production team, holding team members accountable to schedule.

  • Escalate production deficiencies, areas for improvement, and personnel challenges to management.

  • Significant Work Activities -Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day),Work in a clean room environment

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • BS (or equivalent experience), with 6+ years area specific relevant experience.

  • As a highly skilled specialist, contributes to the development of concepts and techniques.

  • Completes complex tasks in creative and effective ways.

  • Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues.

  • Makes recommendations for new procedures.

  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.

  • Assists Supervisor in planning and leading area activities.
