Job Description

The Finance Supervisor plays a pivotal role within the Operations' Supply Chain Finance team, serving as a subject matter expert in several key areas including Inventory policy 0501, global eMDO process, and USDO inventory SOX controls. The role also entails building strong business partnerships with the Controlling Organization, Internal Audit, and the SOX team. Moreover, the Finance Supervisor is entrusted with the responsibility of being the primary point of contact for all internal & external audit requirements, effectively consolidating communication channels and ensuring a streamlined approach.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Build, monitor, and review execution of the Internal Control Framework.

Provide guidance to the USDO organization regarding best internal control practices that minimize risk to the organization.

Coordinate with VLOG to ensure consistent application of controls and monitoring across our Global inventory

Perform risk assessments and design, plan and carry out internal controls including the preparation of audit plans.

Report on deficiencies identified and provide recommendations for improving internal control in business processes.

Execute controls where assigned to the position.

Provide guidance to internal stakeholders regarding INV 501 policy.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Understand and analyze the business processes to identify risks and controls.

Participate in finance and business projects that impact internal control.

Coordinate internal and external audits and monitor progress of the audits, including reporting to stakeholders.

Maintain eMDO approval matrix.

Other Inventory/Reserve reporting as required.

Significant Work Activities -Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)

Qualifications

B.S. in Accounting (Preferred) or Finance.

Public Accounting experience strongly preferred.

Minimum 5-7 years of related experience desired.

Ability to innovate and maintain a continuous improvement attitude.

Self-motivation skills and demonstrate a high level of accountability.

Problem-solving ability within a broad framework of financial policies and concepts.

Builds strong relationships with peers and cross functionally with partners outside of team to enable higher performance.

Ability to communicate as well as influence through relaying complex data in simple terms and driving actionable intelligence.
