Aerotek is hiring maintenance technicians in Charleston SC!!!!!!

Pay: 28-32 hr

Description:

Assist assembly teams in machine setup and tooling/fixture changes.

Initial responder to machine breakdown to provide team with basic troubleshooting before Maintenance team involvement.

Keep technical team informed of machine / part issues on the manufacturing floor.

Handles tool/fixture changes and verifying the quality after machine adjustments occur.

Assist in first piece inspection and adjustment as needed.

Changeovers and first piece proving after the changeover.

Process parameter checks including grease levels, air pressure, and electronic values as needed.

Perform equipment preventive maintenance / corrective maintenance as assigned.

Update charts (as needed) and attend the DRM 2 / Shop Floor Management meetings.

Responsible for 5S of assigned areas

Safety yellow cards raising and closing.

Basic trouble shooting and problem solving of the equipment or process.

Knowledge of part drawing and interpretation of the drawing.

Support Engineering during new trials and part capability verifications.

Knowledge and utilization of e-maintenance software.

Raise / Implement suggestions.

Assist in technical team projects as needed.

Support all manufacturing activities, either directly or indirectly.

Other Production / Maintenance tasks as needed.

Mechanical

Basic machine Maintenance Knowledge for trouble shooting including pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical

Tool setting / repair knowledge

Tooling / Fixture / Part drawings schematic reading knowledge

Maintenance Knowledge

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software preferred

2 to 3 years manufacturing experience.
