As a Manual Machinist with us, you'll have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to projects that make a significant impact. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced with manual lathes, manual turret lathes, and manual mills. They will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision.

salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Operate manual lathes, manual turret lathes, and manual mills to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Set up and adjust machines as necessary to achieve the desired results.

• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are operating efficiently.

• Inspect finished components to verify conformance to quality standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process.

• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize production processes and improve product quality.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Manual Machinist.

• Proficiency with manual lathes, manual turret lathes, and manual mills.

• strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

• Excellent attention to detail and precision.

• strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 25lbs

• working up to 3 hrs of overtime per week
