Amazon Forecasting Analyst, Worldwide Capacity Planning in Noida, India

We are looking for a Capacity Planning Forecasting Analyst to join our Worldwide Capacity Planning team. Our team owns the forecasting models that determine our customer service needs. You will be a part of the planning for Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, etc.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Be creative in building, maintaining, and improving forecasting models for Technical support of Amazon's Digital, Device and Alexa team

  2. Forecast contacts and plan capacity for worldwide contact center network for Amazon customer service

  3. Be curious about how historical data will influence the models you create

  4. Collaborate with a lot of groups to make sure you understand how thing operate and look for ways to innovate

  5. Engage on new product developments and product launches to effectively plan for upcoming products

Bangalore, KA, IND | Hyderabad, TS, IND | Noida, UP, IND

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

  • 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience

  • 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

  • Experience with Excel

  • Experience with SQL

  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business or analytical discipline
