Role Definition

Provides leadership for financial planning and budgeting processes. Meanwhile oversee monthly financial results and related reporting under US GAAP, local statutory financial reporting, the annual external local audit process, and supporting the Managing Director with ad hoc financial analyses, and ensuring compliance of financial reporting and regulatory financial reporting.

Responsibilities

•Producing thorough, accurate and timely budget and expense management reports for the organization.

•Supporting the annual budgeting process including analysis and review of financial information and its impact on the business.

•Analyzing and interpreting financial information for planning and control purposes.

•Overseeing and evaluating the activities of the finance staff, and providing guidance for their professional development.

Degree Requirement

Bachelor degree in accounting or a relevant business discipline

CPA or equivalent is preferred not required

Skills Required

Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Finance and Accounting: Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Managing People: Knowledge of processes involved in managing people; ability to lead successful teams, and diligently address issues related to performance and conflicts at the workplace.
