The Role

This position will be responsible for the electrical engineering construction support for E86. This includes CVN 78 Class reactor plant I&C, propulsion plant electrical systems and VCS reactor plant I&C and electric plant groups.

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design; Master's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience; PhD and 4 years of relevant experience.

Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.

Nice to Have

Electrical engineering experience for both CVN 78 class and VCS.
