Purpose and Objective:

SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Senior Quality Specialist at our Newport Beach, CA location to work in a cross functional product or testing team with special focus on quality assurance and test related tasks within the product creation process.

Expectations and Tasks:

Analyze, define, implement and execute quality and test related activities for the product area. Create a detailed test design including test system landscape requirements and product standards. Prepares tests including customizing and master data. Author and execute manual and automated tests. Analyze test results, spot issues, and take appropriate follow-up action. Team subject matter expert in terms of quality assurance and test related processes, methods, and tools. Initiate process or tool improvements. Has proficient product domain knowledge including relevant business processes and scenarios and a proficient understanding of customer needs. Apply knowledge of relevant product process standards, important legal requirements, as well as quality assurance and test related tools.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and six (6) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The Company will also accept a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Work Experience:

Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:

Design, implement, and execute test plans including unit, functional, regression, system, and integration;

Agile and QA testing and methodology;

Defect monitoring and investigations;

Database concepts including SQL, Oracle or JDBC;

Black and white box testing;

UNIX and Linux based environments;

Automation scripting in Eclipse and Visual Studio IDE; and

Test automation including Postman, Java, JavaScript, Selenium, TestNG, and Jenkins.

Travel: N/A. Telecommuting permitted.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $135,720 - $160,600. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a signicant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $135,720 - $193,600. The actual amount to be oered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
