The Arc Wayne of Newark, NY, a Human Services Agency, is hiring an organized and reliable part-time, Home Delivered Meals Assistant to assist the Home Delivered Meals Coordinator with client administration and volunteer oversight.

Home Delivered Meals Assistant Responsibilities:
Provide initial program-specific training to volunteers
Assist with coordination of volunteer schedules and activities
Schedule and ensure completion of test meals as required, ensuring the results are documented and communicated appropriately
Conduct client intakes and enter or update demographic information
Record and communicate volunteer/meal cancelations
Complete assigned tasks necessary to ensure contract compliance
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:30 am - 1:30 pm) 25 hours
Work Location: The Arc Wayne, 150 Van Buren St, Newark, NY 14513
Home Delivered Meals Coordinator Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Must possess a current, valid New York State Driver's License that meets the Agency Driver standards (Class D).
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
