The Stanford Medicine Technology and Digital Solutions team was formed to provide the Stanford Medicine community with the most innovative technology services as efficiently as possible. Led by Michael Pfeffer, CIO and Michael Halaas, Chief Operating Officer and Associate Dean in the School of Medicine, the unified organization brings together the best of the School of Medicine and Stanford Health Care IT to enable new opportunities for groundbreaking work and compassionate care. Together, the Technology and Digital Solutions team will work to break down historic organizational barriers to enable even greater collaboration across Stanford Medicine hospital and clinics, and the entire University.

A Brief Overview

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst II will work as a member of the SHC IAM team responsible for supports access management activities, including audit remediation items and system clean up processes. The position will work with peer service areas and technology owners to execute on continuous improvements with regards to Access Management processes. This position must work effectively with clinical and non-clinical team members in order to achieve the stated objectives. Key responsibilities include the management of the core Access Management IT processes, including Active Directory, Exchange, Lawson, various applications, as well as managing requests and incidents through the Service Now ticketing system.

What you will do

  • Ensure processing and response to IAM requests to deliver premium security and Access Management services to the organization

  • Ensure timely response to and resolve identified Security Operations incidents, maintaining contact with end users and the SHC service desk through resolution.

  • Suggest and participate in process improvement using Lean and other methodologies to drive excellence in team performance

  • Act as a trusted security liaison to all IT Services teams.

  • Support departmental initiatives from a Security Operations perspective

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree BS/BA in information or business-related field from an accredited college or university Required

  • 5-6 years of directly related experience can be substituted in lieu of degree Required

Experience Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience Required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience performing provisioning and account management in an Active Directory environment.

  • Ability to manipulate Excel datasets

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Knowledge of and ability to learn information systems and applications

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment

  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment, reasoning and confidentiality

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are required.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $49.66 - $65.80 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
