Barclays Services Corp. seeks Vice President, Quantitative Analyst in New York, NY (multiple positions). Number of positions: 5JOB DUTIES: 1. Perform financial quantitative analysis to evaluate portfolio quality and trends of risk and profitability.2. Engage in financial project design, predictive model development, financial strategy development, creation of production code and implementation of financial models.3. Model development across the model life cycle including acquisitions, existing customer management, regulatory and collections models.4. Ensure that the latest methodologies and constraints are incorporated in the acquisition, capital and impairment plans.5. Provide efficient documentation and control evidence around the financial model development and implementation process to ensure smooth audit.6. Produce comprehensive documentation to ensure the models can be replicated and to indicate how the models adhere to internal, external and regulatory requirements.7. Use banking knowledge to manage financial risks and identify opportunities through financial analysis.8. Understand the underlying regulatory requirements for impairment and capital with their primary drivers of the capital adequacy and allowance. Understand the risk management strategies and collection strategies of the bank.9. Obtain buy-in from the internal governance, validation, model owner and business partner.10. Develop optimization frameworks, acquisition models, response models, existing customer management and behavioral model.11. Work with team members and stakeholders within QA, outside QA and outside the bank.12. May telecommute.REQUIREMENTS:Employer will accept a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field and 3 years of experience in the financial industry or related occupation.RATE OF PAY: $160k--$170k per year. The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate.
