ABOUT LOVESHACKFANCY
LoveShackFancy began in 2013 with a beach-to-ballroom hand-dyed halter dress that founder and creative director Rebecca Hessel Cohen made for her bridal party. Over time, that one article of clothing, created to celebrate love, has turned into a world filled with all things romantic, dreamy and drenched in optimism — from clothing to tabletop, bedding, swim, ski, travel accessories, shoes and more.
ROLE OVERVIEW
To assist in the production process and collaborate with design and production development team to bring design’s vision to reality. Strive to deliver high quality, high margin, fashion forward product in the given production timeline keeping the brand’s DNA. Production Manager will manage daily communication with all vendors, cross functional teams, and report into Senior Director of Production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow up with Oversea factories on production status by updating daily WIP report
Proactively help ensure timely deliveries by checking each milestone due dates with cross function parties
Ensure BOM is accurately updated when production pass off is made in beginning of each season.
Cost negotiation with factories and mills to maintain required margins.
Daily email follow-up in timely manner
Ensure the following information is accurately updated in ERP system.
Delivery dates
Size break
Approved cost
Weekly production WIP report update to senior prod director.
Interact with Tech Design on garment fit status and attend fittings.
Track product approval submits to ensure transfer of internal and external information is attained accurately and in timely manner
Conduct fabric inventory at the end of the season.
Review invoices accuracy to present to Director of Production for approval to A/P
Manage stock/replenishment of our woven labels & hangtags.
Data entry as needed.
Requirements
5+ years of production manager experience with a contemporary brand
