Supply Chain Analyst, Supply Chain & Operations, (Manufacturing)(Manager)(Multiple Positions)(1498400), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.

Provide expertise in supply chain manufacturing to assist clients to achieve a fully optimized value chain through manufacturing transformation capabilities. Advise clients on manufacturing operations and improvements of processes and manufacturing technologies across industry sectors . Assess manufacturing and supply chain processes to identify opportunities, value and prioritize those opportunities, recommend effective solutions, and implement agreed upon improvements. Manage the business development process of storyboarding the approach, work products, and value creation to sell services to our clients. Analyze manufacturing data and apply analytic methods to advise clients on how to understand, predict, and control manufacturing operations and processes throughout the supply chain. Provide daily executional support and coaching on the production shop floor to eliminate losses systemically. Assist clients in establishing KPIs and setting target outputs to satisfy planned sales and inventory, balancing agility, reliability, and resilience. Focus on clients’ core manufacturing and support functions including Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, HR/Org Design, and Plant Leadership to transform operations using performance improvement techniques. Provide consulting services in areas such as manufacturing planning, strategy, outsourcing/insourcing, lean and TPM manufacturing, digital I4.0 and IT/OT environment, product lifecycle management and/or plant management.

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field and 4 years of work experience.

Must have 2 years of experience selling or leading Manufacturing Operations projects.

Must have at least 3 years of executional experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • continuous improvement,

  • manufacturing strategy,

  • contract manufacturing management, and/or

  • cost optimization.

Must have 3 years in functional implementation experience of Integrated Work Systems (IWS), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Run To Target (RTT), World Class Manufacturing (WCM), High Performance Organization (HPO), LEAN, or Six Sigma performance improvement.

Must have 3 years of advisory, consulting, and/or industry experience in manufacturing operations improvement in the consumer products, life sciences, or advanced manufacturing and mobility sectors; and designing and implementing processes and approaches to improve manufacturing operations.

Must have 2 years of experience in all of the following:

  • teaching or coaching manufacturing employees as an operations leader OR client manufacturing employees as a consultant;

  • developing and running technical meetings and workshops for manufacturing clients or operations; AND

  • selling and/or delivering manufacturing operations improvement projects.

Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international to serve client needs.
