About the role:

AIG Treasury is a global organization within the Finance division of AIG. AIG Treasury is responsible for Liquidity Management, Capital Management, Rating Agencies, Corporate Insurance, Cash Management and Forecasting, Bank Relations, Capital Markets and Foreign Exchange Management. AIG Treasury strives to be a valued partner to internal and external stakeholders by fostering collaboration and providing support that drives significant value for the business.

We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join the North America Treasury team. This role requires problem solving skills, attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepare daily cash balance reports used for optimizing cash and short term investments and maximizing net interest income.

  • Prepare reports used to direct investment of excess operating cash balances in longer dated assets in partnership with the Investments team.

  • Initiate foreign exchange spot trades to convert foreign currency into U.S. dollars for funding purposes.

  • Assist with the preparation of liquidity baseline and stress testing results for North American insurance companies.

  • Prepare cash flow forecasts for insurance and holding companies.

  • Prepare daily actual vs. prior day and actual vs. forecast cash variance analysis reports for insurance companies.

  • Prepare daily margining reports for external distribution.

  • Prepare Federal Home Loan Bank borrowing capacity and margin reports used for funding purposes in the insurance companies.

  • Prepare quarterly and annual Federal Home Loan Bank certifications and capital stock calculations.

  • Create PowerPoint presentations for AIG’s senior management, Board of Directors, Risk Committees, and various stakeholders.

  • Support Treasury technology and process transformation workstreams.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Finance or business major preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in Finance and Treasury in a financial firm with knowledge in corporate finance, investments, and/or accounting.

  • Insurance industry knowledge a plus.

  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure, maintain strong attention to detail and prioritize work within tight deadlines.

  • Self-starter, quick learner and team-player.

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and a high level of intellectual curiosity.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

    For positions based in NYC, the base salary range is $76,000 - $85,000.

    In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
