Job Summary:

Acts as the senior product representative on a client team and is solely responsible for all product transactions with key clients. Negotiates fee structures. Has extensive, in-depth knowledge of product functions and can operate independently in handling transactions. Strong client relationship skills used to control and coordinate all aspects of a transaction, from marketing and documentation to closing. Develops aggressive marketing plans and strategies affecting an entire region or section. Individuals in this role are typically a second year Principal.

The Market-Linked Investments Structuring & Origination team (“the Team”) is cross-asset structured products unit responsible for originating, structuring, positioning and executing transactions for both retail and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (“UHNW”) clients based across the Americas. Focus on over-the-counter and securitized cross-asset products with embedded vanilla or light-exotic optionality on equity, commodities, currencies, interest rates and hybrid underlying assets. Total transacted notional outstanding over $11 billion generating more than US$250+ million in revenues per annum to the firm.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate the structuring, origination, positioning and execution of Structured Notes or Market-Linked Investments (Domestic and International) and OTC products including pricing of cross asset derivatives.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Global Markets trading/structuring partners, third party issuers and hedge providers

• Partner to help drive modernization work of our MLI platform, helping to transform our origination process and FA experience

• Partner with internal sales specialists to optimize the adoption and distribution of products

• Interact with trading, internal sales and financial advisors on a daily basis to relay market color, research, and trading related information

• Identify research-driven trading ideas and market opportunities to drive business

• Liaise and interact with traders to facilitate transactions and provide competitive pricing for clients

• Manage secondary market of market-linked structures

• Liaise with key partners including members of legal, compliance, trading and research

• Proactively develop and maintain relationships with financial advisors

  • As part of their responsibilities, professionals on the Team develop research-driven strategic and tactical trading ideas; provide advice on portfolio hedging and positioning based on client’s objectives and risk tolerance; and engage in the structuring, origination, positioning and execution of OTC derivatives and/or Structured Notes/Market-Linked Investments.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of relevant work and analytical experience in the areas described above

• Ability to identify, prioritize and execute timely business tasks

• Multi-tasking and ability to work under pressure

• Strong marketing and presentation skills

• Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative work environment

• FINRA registered representative with Series 7, 63/66 and 79 required

• Excellent Bloomberg and MS Office skills

• Strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills.

• Candidate will be required to complete the NFA’s Swaps Proficiency
