DESCRIPTION

Responsible for developing, launching, managing, and growing products for Nielsen’s Analytics team in Product Leadership: Analyze market trends, gather competitive intelligence and determine customer needs from media advertiser, agency and network clients. Develop and execute go-to market strategy for Nielsen’s cross-platform audience measurement products based on proprietary TV panel and big data (set-top box/smart TV) assets. Create user stories, define technical product requirements and prioritize development of key features, capabilities, and enhancements. Create quarterly and yearly product roadmaps with timelines and milestones and ensure the committed product development program is on track. Have a technical understanding of the agile product development process and manage a team of software engineers and data scientists to oversee scrum-based sprint planning, delegate work and execute on roadmap items. Run beta and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) programs with clients prior to product deployment to ensure the product meets customer demands. Build strategic relationships with clients and be the subject matter expert for Nielsen’s Analytics product portfolio. Grow the customer base of managed products by carrying out sales pitches, product demonstrations, webinars and technical training sessions. Actively participate in contract negotiations and language revisions/approvals as needed for data acquisition and client usage of product offerings. Tools and technologies used include: backend APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), front-end UX/UI, JIRA, AWS, Confluence, Postman, Smartsheet, Salesforce.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Management, Engineering or a related field with a concentration in business and product management plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in technical product management. Must have three (3) years of experience in the following: working with agile product development and scrum process framework; competitive audience measurement landscape, including one of the following domains: (i) audience measurement and targeting, (ii) digital / cross-platform advertising, or (iii) strategic and tactical media planning; using or designing cross-platform media and behavior measurement technologies and/or data collection methods, including each and every one of the following: (i) media panels and consumer research, (ii) advertising tracking technology, and (iii) data matching methods; working with statistical modeling, sample design and weighting, descriptive statistical analysis, and predictive analytics; Client-facing experience in a professional setting; Application Development Life-cycle Management (ADLM) tools including JIRA, JiraAlign, and Confluence; Application Programing Interfaces (APIs); UX/UI; Cloud (AWS); and Salesforce. One (1) year of experience with/in: TV and digital media ecosystem; working with machine learning techniques employed in the consumer research industry; privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs), including cloud-based data clean rooms, data set de-identification, and industry best practices for designing privacy-preserving data processing environments. Salary: $108,306 - 225,000 /year, M-F, 40 hours/week.
